How are your products produced?
It is important to us that the animals are out grazing high quality pasture. We are committed to providing wholesome products produced and made without any chemicals, antibiotics or hormones.
Why is your farm not “certified” organic?
Because we have one on one contact with our customers, we choose not to put our resources toward costly and time consuming certifications. We want you to know and trust us and our practices. Please visit the farm or discuss our practices with us.
Are the cattle or other ruminant animals finished with grain?
We do not feed our cattle or other ruminant animals grain at any time!
Are the Chickens and pigs fed grain?
Yes, along with being on pasture in spring, summer, and fall, the chickens and pigs receive a grain ration mixed here on the farm containing non-GMO corn and soybeans from local farmers committed to preserving the land in its natural state.
Can I visit the farm?
Yes, please contact us 2 days prior to your visit to ensure our availability.
How long will meat last in my freezer?
Our frozen meat products can be easily stored in the freezer for up to one year.
How long can your eggs be stored in the refrigerator?
The eggs can easily be stored in the refrigerator for up to 30 days. We do our best to get our eggs to you within a few days to two weeks of being laid.
How long will the dairy products last?
Most customers say the milk will be good for at least 7 to 10 days. Of course the cultured products will last longer.
Are raw milk cheese and other raw dairy products safe?
While proper refrigeration is the best thing to maintain a safe product, any food can harbor bad bacteria and make a person ill. Milk from a healthy animal, that is allowed access to fresh pasture, fresh water and clean living quarters, will not be exposed to the high levels of pathogens associated with various illnesses caused most often in confinement dairies.
Is raw dairy legal?
In the state of Indiana, it is illegal to sell raw dairy products for human consumption. We have a license with the state of Indiana that allows us to sell raw dairy products for consumption by pets only. Hard raw milk cheeses are legal to sell in Indiana if they are aged at least 60 days.
Do the jars need to be clean when I return them?
Yes, it is imperative that all returned jars be clean--as in spotless. We reserve the right to not accept dirty jars.
How should I clean my jars?
Rinse them immediately after use. Then wash them with hot soapy water. A dishwasher is acceptable. Let them dry completely before putting the lids on.

What are the order deadlines?
Most order deadlines are 2-3 days prior to the delivery date. See the order deadlines for each delivery site by clicking on "Current and Future Delivery Sites"
What if I need to cancel my order?
If you need to cancel an order, contact us prior to the order deadline. 10% of your product total for non-jarred dairy products and full payment for jarred dairy will be due on ALL orders that are not picked up on time or canceled by the order deadline. If the fee is not payed, no further orders will be accepted.
What is a Delivery Location?
Delivery Locations are simply places where we meet you with your order. Most of our deliveries take place in permitted business parking lots, churches and home driveways.
What is a Delivery Site Coordinator?
Many of our delivery site locations are coordinated by someone who offers a location for our delivery and works to build that delivery location and make it a great place to meet us.
How do I pickup my order?
Arrive at the pickup location on your scheduled date and time. NOTE: Please be on time. We will be on our way to our next delivery and cannot wait on latecomers.
We will have a table near our delivery vehicle where you will be greeted. (Expect a short wait.)
At this time your final total will be due via CASH or CHECK ONLY. Once payment is completed your order will be gathered.

What should I bring on pickup day?

Can the location coordinator hold my order?
We highly discourage this. Again payments will be due at time of pickup.
Can a friend pick up my order?
Yes, we encourage all customers to place their own order for accuracy, but feel free to share trips. Just remember all payments are due at pickup time.
What form of payments do you accept?
Cash or check ONLY. No credit cards please.
Do you really pay your customers to refer others?
Yes. Just ask those whom you have referred to us to note that you referred them in the special instructions when they place their first order, and you will receive a $10 referral credit on your next order.
Is there a delivery fee?
Yes, we do have a small delivery fee depending on the location to help cover the driving costs. We ask that each customer place their own order. The delivery fees decrease when more customers order.
Do you ship your products?
No, at this time we do not ship our products.
